What is Frustration?

State of an individual when prevented by others or by himself from reaching the satisfaction of a drive demand.

What does the Bible say about Frustration?

Sometimes the Lord allows our plans to be frustrated simply because it is neither the time nor His will for such a thing.
Numbers 22:18b I could not go beyond the command of the LORD my God, to do less or more.
Proverbs 13:12 [God's delays are not always refusals.] Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.
Proverbs 21:30 [If the Lord does not want something to be done, however "better" your ideas and plans are, they will not work!] No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel, can avail against the LORD.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
2 Corinthians 13:8 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.
James 4:13-15 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and get gain"; whereas you do not know about tomorrow. What is your life? Frustration can result from acting with our own strength.
Psalms 20:7,8 Some boast of chariots, and some of horses; but we boast of the name of the LORD our God. They will collapse and fall; but we shall rise and stand upright.
Psalms 44:6 For not in my bow do I trust, nor can my sword save me.
Psalms 127:1a Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.
Jeremiah 17:5 Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm, whose heart turns away from the LORD.

There are many things that frustrate us. Lack of money to purchase a product. When you do a business expecting positive results and someone harms you. A party that you have been waiting for, but you have not been invited to. The lack of professional recognition, not feeling reciprocated, a feeling of wanting without being wanted.

The truth is that frustration can lead to self-pity and feeling diminished with our low self-esteem. Missing a job opportunity you wanted. If this is not immediately resolved through the right attitudes, it will unleash a greater evil.

"I wanted this, but the reality is different". The scenario of my expectations has been radically changed in another geography. What to do? Immediately turn it around with a decision not to let mediocre feelings invade my soul. It is like making a barrier in my mind with assertive practices to contain and make a dam of the frustrations that can become a flood of resentments of anger and hurt.

You have to understand that it is urgent to work with losses and frustrations and make these tools tools to seek spiritual and emotional maturity to live above mediocrity.

Think: “It was not my time” All things work together for good for those who love God. Your moment will come.

Frustrations in life are inevitable

Think that while you live here you will be disappointed with someone and usually the frustrations happen to the people we love the most.

It should not be like that, but it is. As much as tomorrow is a new day, in the same way someone will frustrate you.

We are like that, we tend to never please, because the biggest cause of all our motivations is ourselves. This dissatisfaction that proceeds within our own selfish nature, frustrates us when we think of having altruistic attitudes and sometimes we are surprised and disappointed because of our vain consistency.

Well if it is to conform to the frustrations I think these arguments are enough to understand that we need to be good students in the school of life.

The frustrations come about two types of people in the world. The weak and the strong. The weak are left with isolation, self-pity and bitterness and judgment and letting themselves be overcome by these mediocre feelings and going through that life without realizing the beauty of colors watching the events of the world in black and white.

The best thing for the weak is to live on the dark side of the moon. For the strong, it is a great opportunity to mature. The strong will learn the art of tolerance, patience, forgiveness. The strong will assess the other side of the losses.

Like a sculptor who shapes the cold marble by the chisel, the strong will sculpt their personalities, having the courage to live and the humility to win. Remember Frustrations are unpredictable obstacles for you to see the beauties of life in adversity and setbacks.
